kevin j. frank - a case study here are two photos of Kevin J. Frank, one of my favourite guitarists, shot eight years apart. i scanned these shots for the next issue of Copper Press, but dude who is doing the design of that article already has live pix and doesn't need mine. to keep these from going to waste and to justify the time spent scanning them, here you go.
the first shot was taken at ABC No Rio in New York City when he was playing with Gauge in 1993, the second was taken earlier this year, when Haymarket Riot played at Club SAW in Ottawa.
from these pictures, and using any experience seeing Mr. Frank play live or listening to his recorded output then and now, compare and contrast guitar style, musical style and personal style. please footnote any references to songs, tabs or interviews in fanzines. i want a 250 word essay on my desk monday morning.
